And what's there to see?
In late 2014, this hospital, built in a modernist style, opened a “museum area” inside its walls. A lot of effort was put into its refurbishment, and nowadays, it’s part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage. And the visit is absolutely worth it, especially for fans of architecture! The buildings you can visit have beautiful, modernist architecture: façades with sculptures, mosaics, and floral elements await!

A history of the Hospital Sant Pau
The Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau has existed since 1401, but was scheduled for a relocation to another part of the city. Starting in 1902, a contemporary of Gaudí’s named Luis Domènech i Montaner designed a new hospital building in the Eixample district.
