Night of the Museums
You might just have incidentally booked the perfect time for travel! In Barcelona, the Night of the Museums is free of charge, which means you can visit as many museums as you like from 19.00 (7 p.m.) to 01.00 (1 a.m.)! Additionally, many museums offer music or other entertainment for their guests. The list of participating museums will be added as soon as the program has been finalized. When: Date is yet to be determined, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Where: Various Museums in Barcelona
Large Barcelonian breweries regularly offer tapas tours. What exactly does that mean, you ask? Well, you go to a participating bar and get a beer and a tapa for 2.50 Euro. This gives the restaurant a way to advertise for itself, and you can walk from one spot to the next and see which tapa you like best! Tip: Every now and then, I recommend getting a “Clara” (known as a “shandy” or “Radler” in various parts of Europe, a mixture of beer and Sprite) – otherwise, you might get pretty tipsy while out and about. Participating restaurants put up a sign at the front door, and they also like to hand out maps of the city showing all the participating restaurants – including pictures of the tapa offered by each restaurant When: The exact date is yet to be determined Please note: This is not a guided tour!
